In particular the way that $850k and above are quite uniform except for the $1,000,000 to $1,500,000 range. It’s really interesting, and very Edmonds, I think.
All those view homes off of 9th, the condos in the Bowl, and up at Point Edwards and you’ll see the roots of this.

Hardly an all inclusive list, but it’s main focus is to get you out of the house on this predictably drippy weekend.

Made a quick vlog update. I spent the morning wandering around Edmonds.
I’m a community radio junkie.
One of my favorites growing up with KNHC, aka C89 FM. They’ve won several awards, including Best Dance Station. To me, that’s a huge deal since this local, student run (high-school students at that) community station beat out major national players.
Almost daily I listen to KEXP. John in the Morning has long been a staple of my days. And I’ve been listening the station, like, forever. Like back when it was KCMU.
Another that gets a fair amount of my ear-time:Â KNKXÂ (formly KPLU). My favorite for news and my beloved jazz.
KING FM, Seattle’s classical station (personally, I prefer “symphonic/orchestral” as “classical” refers to a specific time period, and “classical” music {as it’s termed now} encompasses Baroque, Romantic, Modern…you get the idea…anyway, that’s me being a music snob, and, well, I digress) is another favorite. I was delighted when, years ago, they shifted to a community radio format. Â And I still am delighted at the change.

I’m playing with taking my aspiring vlogger son to these events, but not sure about the price tag. Though not horribly expensive, I need to be thoughtful of my investments in time and money.
So, any of you going? Who’s been the past ones? Are they worth the investment in time and energy? Should my son and I go to one, or the other…or both?

I’m pretty excited about the upcoming Season 3 of Star Wars Rebels. Well crafted and nicely executed, I really enjoy the show. So, I hopped online to learn when I’ll be able to buy the series on iTunes. Most of my Google search, though, reminded me of Disney’s PR snafu last year.
As a long-time cord-cutter, I bought each season on iTunes. Last season’s dividing the season into two payment opportunities annoyed me greatly. Not as much as some people (like these folks), and not enough that I said “screw it”. I paid the dough. But I wonder how often this money grabbing technique will be tolerated. I don’t know how I feel, personally.
Anyway, I’m not sure when season three will be on iTunes, but will be watching closely.
These characters have amazing potential, and I’m really excited to see what the creators have crafted. It’ll be a great couple of months.
I’ve been hearing about the Fair on 44th for the past couple of days. 44th will be closed to cars from 188th (the first station) to 194th (the library).
So, head over tomorrow, Saturday from 10:00 am  to 2:00 pm.

The City of Lynnwood is hosting a new event this Saturday, September 10 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm – The Fair on 44th – Lynnwood’s Health & Safety Community Block Party
44th Ave W in Lynnwood will be closed to car traffic from the Fire Station to the Police Station (188th St – 194th St) and open to people with fun, informational, and interactive things for everyone to enjoy!
Make sure to come say hello to District bus drivers and climb aboard a school bus as part of the event!
