This shirt, "100% cotton, made in Malaysia" gave me pause. Was the shirt
sewn in Malaysia? Or was the cotton grown there? Curiosity…gets me all the
time.

That is curious. I think that the shirt was made in Malaysia. I don't know where the cotton came from but the tag is in the right spot. Either way you know they didn't pay the workers well.
